Chilly

A "cold" front has been going through our house as of late, and I am the most recent victim to succumb to its effects.

In other words, I'm sick.

Thankfully, it's not swine flu or ebola or something. I know this because I'm experiencing my standard cold symptoms: stuffy nose, perpetually "full" bladder, general chilliness, and lethargy (I'm not a really vomiter or sneezer). The worst part is that most of these symptoms is that I usually don't notice them right when I wake up, but rather a few hours later. Back when I was in school this meant I occasionally went to school sick, and in that case I usually didn't think it was worth the effort to contact the proper channels and go home.

The worst time this happened to me was back in 4th or 5th grade where I ended up emptying the contents of my stomach onto the floor of a carpeted portable when trying to get myself a drink of water. This incident ended up giving me the appellation of "Barfzilla" amongst some students.

The second worst time this happened was in a high school gym class (6th period, I think), where I ran a mile (slowly). I could barely walk after going home.

Anyways, I feel like taking a hot bath. That usually helps me feel better.
